Let’s explore Wiccan Capricorn correspondences! The sun travels through Capricorn from the dates of approximately the 21st day of December to the 19th day of January under the tropical Zodiac. Capricorn is one of the three Earth signs, in addition to Taurus and Virgo.

Capricorn is represented by the Goat symbol. It is the 10th zodiac sign, originating from the constellation Capricornus. It has a cardinal quality, and a negative or feminine polarity.

Capricorn is an Earth sign. Earth signs are grounded and solid, much like the Earth. They are constant, comforting, and calming. In Wicca Capricorn is endlessly practical, orderly, and careful. They like to feel in control with everything that they do, which manifests in an organized home, a carefully scheduled day, punctuality, detailed to do lists, and having their finances in order.

They are ambitious and want to be prepared for any situation. As a result they get frustrated easily by those with no direction or responsibility.

At their best Capricorns are disciplined, prepared, independent, and resourceful. They can make a detailed plan for anything and see it through. At their worst they are prone to worry and so can become pessimistic and impatient. They can be cheapskates too.
